How To Wax Properly How Do I Properly Re-wax My Barbour Bedale Jacket?

How do I properly re-wax my Barbour Bedale jacket? - how to wax properly

As winter draws near, I realized that my Barbour jacket must be re-waxed. I already have the wax, now we just need to know how to apply the envelope.

What used to do was clean (if necessary) and dry jacket. And so on. Then put newspaper on the floor, put my jacket on the floor, the heat from the wax with hot water (slightly above the tin lid and water in a pot - attention) and then apply the liquid wax with a damp cloth jacket with something like an old dish towel. Rub well to disperse it.

It will be uneven, but when you're done you can use a hair dryer on still-hot dish with a chance of even running a little.

Or, look at their website.

Takes a little practice and made a mess!
